Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer, and director best known as the star of Birdman. He is a versatile actor that can be seen in both comedy as well as dramatic roles. His acting career has seen him play a variety of romanced characters and has appeared in several movies. He was attracted to acting and performing while at the age of teen and tried his luck at stand-up comics as an untrained young man. It wasn't a great comedian, but it helped pave the way for an acting career. To be successful as a comedian, he was offered a position as a cameraman for the local cable TV station. In the course of working for them that he realized that really wanted to be behind the camera. After landing a job on TV, he starred in numerous episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. The natural talents of the actor led him to be a popular character on television. He embarked on a film career with a lot of goals and was able to gain a considerable amount of fame through his comedic roles. He earned further acclaim for his portrayal of the famous superhero within Tim Burton's Batman. He developed as an actor as time went on and delved into the direction and production worlds. As a result of his performance in Birdman (2014) the actor was awarded numerous nominations and awards.
